'Boronia Cottage' Respite Centre

'Boronia Cottage' was officially opened by Senator Mark Furner on the 5 December 2012, with lots of positive comments from those who attended the opening.

We are sure the respite centre will be used and enjoyed by many in the years to come.

The completed project has included a 4 bedroom, 6 person respite facility for people requiring up to 6 nights of care. Including multiple sitting areas and a full kitchen, Boronia Cottage is a home away from home for  those that need respite care.

Owned by the Bribie-Moreton Hospice Health Services Incorporated and operated by Suncare, Boronia Cottage will hopefully be the first of many community respite facilities to be built and operated in South-East Queensland.

Lexus Southport, New Showroom & Workshop

The new showroom at Southport Lexus is close to handover.  With all the furniture on site and cars about to be delivered it won't be long before the new 'Lexus of Southport' is up and running.

The workshop/service centre is also close to operational, with only a few finishing touches to take place.  Featuring eight work bays plus a wheel alignment bay, the new workshop facility is capable of servicing more customers than ever!

New Showroom & Workshop At Southport For Lexus

The new Lexus showroom and workshop at Southport is in the final stage, with a predicted handover date of late next week.

Externally the building is close to completion with the painting and installation of the Alucobond panelling and glazing already finished, leaving just a few minor items such as final landscaping and concrete sealing to be done.

The construction has progressed well and the final stage will see the remainder of the cabinetry for the reception, amenities, offices and cafe areas installed along with the balance of the tiling and laying of the broadloom carpet.

The final electrical fit-off is close to completion, which will bring the well known Lexus detailing to life.  The extensive furniture package for both areas is also due to arrive next week.

Coolum Surf Club, Interior Alterations

The new pizza and cafe areas at the Coolum Beach Surf Club are now complete and operational.  The Club have already had a great response from the community to the new works - with record high pizza sales!

The new areas feature handcrafted Tasmanian Oak light boxes and laminate feature paneling, with recessed strip lighting to create a great ambience in the club throughout the day and night.

The inclusion of abstract graphics highlight the Surf Club Carnival atmosphere and demonstrates the importance Coolum has for their club and community members.

The new work is just the beginning of the club's overall master plan, which is to be completed next year.

New Showroom & Workshop at Southport for Lexus

Our most recent site visit to the new Lexus showroom and workshop at Southport this week shows the workshop building nearing completion with just clean up of the offices and final workshop equipment to be installed.

The showroom floor and wall finishes are nearing completion and cabinetry installation has commenced.

The hard stand concrete is nearly finished and landscaping is to commence soon.

Completion of 'Boronia Cottage', at Bellara

The new respite centre, 'Boronia Cottage' at Bellara is now complete with just final cleaning and the fit-out to take place.

The cottage will be aimed at short term, aged care accommodation.

Interior Alterations, Coolum Surf Club

The ongoing refurbishment of Coolum Surf Lifesaving Club includes a new pizza area and coffee and ice-cream station. These works are part of a new overall master plan for the club in the future.

Lexus Dealership, Southport

The construction of both the service centre and showroom for the new Southport Lexus Dealership is nearing the finishes stage.  The service centre building is about to have all the cabinetry installed and the workshop is now close to having all the oil services fitted.

The showroom building is currently having all the shopfront glazing installed.  There is over half of the floor tiles now laid and preparation for the external hard and soft landscaping has commenced.  It is all starting to take shape nicely!

The forecast for completion by the end of November is on track.

Motorbike Showroom & Workshop, Caloundra

The construction of the motorbike showroom and workshop at Caloundra has progressed well since our previous site visit early last month.

Both the internal and external areas are almost finished with final completion due mid October 2012.

Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge Administration Building

Here are some images from the official opening of the new administration building at the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge last Saturday.  

The new building which was opened by Mayor Mark Jamieson will provide a great impression when entering the site and some much needed upgrades to existing facilities. 

BRD Group, along with some of our consultants, were proud to offer design and documentation services to assist the refuge.

Lexus Dealership, Southport

The construction of the service centre and main showroom are progressing well.  Below are some images taken at our site visit last week.

The forecasted completion date is the end of November 2012.

New Motorbike Showroom & Workshop, Caloundra

BRD Group were appointed to undertake design and interior services for a new motorbike showroom and workshop at Caloundra.

The project is currently under construction, with completion due for mid October 2012.
